ADVOCATES TO HELP SENIORS, PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS, AND THEIR FAMILIES
Attorney Kimberly L. Kelly has been practicing in the areas of Elder Law and Estate Planning for more than 20 years. In June of 2022 she welcomed two new attorneys to her staff, Attorney Dayna E. DelMastro and Attorney Amanda C. Hsiao.
Attorney DelMastro is a new attorney who brings energy and compassion to the firm. Her commitment to the field of elder law at such a young age is inspiring. Attorney Hsiao brings more than fifteen years of experience in legal practice. Her care and attention to detail are of great benefit to our clients.
We encourage you to review our biographies and our specific areas of practice, and to please contact us if there is anything that we can do to help you and/or your loved ones. We place significant value on each and every client relationship and we are sincerely dedicated to making all of your lives simpler.
Do You have a Plan?
Have you legally nominated someone to make your medical decisions in the event that you lose the ability to make your own? What about your finances?
Does your loved one suffer from Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, history of stroke, or any chronic condition that leaves him or her incapable of handling personal and financial affairs?
Do you have a relative who is receiving care in a nursing home, or who may be in the near future?
Do you have a relative with special needs that is receiving MassHealth benefits?
The situations above are the sort of reasons why working with an Elder Law attorney may be necessary to either alleviate or avoid crises.
Please review our Areas of Practice page to see how we can help you and your family.
When to plan?
You should start planning as soon as you turn eighteen. Every adult should have a Health Care Proxy and Durable Power of Attorney.
You should also revisit your documents approximately every 5 years or when you experience life-changing moments like getting married, starting a family, retirement, or when a person named in your documents passes away.
